If you haven't yet had time to write a letter to Judge Crane, it's not too late. Every letter makes a difference.
Many, many thanks for your emails and letters. The motion for re-sentencing was filed by Susan’s attorney’s in the 10th Circuit Court, Saginaw, Michigan on Tuesday July 15, 2008. On Wednesday July 16, 2008, Judge Crane asked the Prosecutor to respond to the motion to vacate the original sentence and hold a new sentencing hearing within 30 days; so we will have to wait. In the meantime we received an outpouring of positive letters from you and from supporters all over the country. Several elected officials also sent letters.

- her value a wife, mother and contributing member of society
- since her encounter with the law at 19 years old, she has led a law-abiding life for over 30 years
- the heavy cost to the taxpayers Michigan to incarcerate Susan, who is not a threat to anyone
- the past several months in prison have already taken a big toll on her health and safety
- any other character-related, fairness, mercy, points
- ask Judge Crane to please consider all of these circumstances in his decision for a new sentence
Your letter will make a huge difference.
